Brian’s Journey
Brian wanted his Half Ironman in Durban to be about more than crossing the finish line. He wanted it to have a deeper purpose — one that would change lives. Coming from a country like Ireland, with stability and opportunity, Brian felt it was important to give back in a way that creates lasting change for those who haven’t had access to the same education and environment he has been fortunate to enjoy.

To maximise the impact, Brian partnered with his employer, Novvi Properties, who generously matched every euro raised. This partnership meant that every donation had double the impact, making education more accessible for orphans and delivering tangible, lasting results.
On June 1st, 2025, Brian completed the grueling Half Ironman in Durban, South Africa, cheered on by friends, family, and supporters. Together, the community’s generosity — combined with Novvi’s matching — funded two full months of education for 130 children in Afghanistan.
